Freeport Launch Service Directions

From Houston:

· Take SH 288 South toward Freeport/Lake Jackson.

· Exit on FM-523 just North of Angleton,TX. (About 30 Miles south of the 610 Loop in Houston).

· Take 523 South to Freeport. (Warning! The Village of Oyster Creek is just North of Freeport and highway speeds diminish to 45 MPH.

· Cross Hwy 332 into Freeport. (Landmark - Bucees Texaco truck stop will be on the left.)

· Continue South on Hwy 523 (Also labeled as 1495 and Pine Street) towards the Port of Freeport.

· Cross the Brazos River bridge. (Landmark - A large guillotine flood gate will be to your left while on top of the bridge.)

· As you leave the bridge, turn left (east) on Fourth St. (Landmark - Fire Station is on the right at this intersection.)

· Continue east for 1 block.

· Turn Left (North)for 2 blocks, back to the river.

· Turn Right (East) on Second Street and continue until the road makes a sharp left and crosses the flood levee.

· Follow the river (Brazos St) east until the end. This is our facility.
